Bayern Munich defender Rafinha has insisted that Olympique de Marseille cannot be taken lightly in Wednesday's Champions League quarter-final first-leg clash.
Didier Deschamps' men have been in poor form in Ligue 1 in 2012, but Rafinha has stressed that their opponents still possess a lot of quality, and has warned his team-mates of OM's attacking prowess.
"Marseille are a great team with a lot of quality up front. They are struggling in the league at the moment, but the fact that they have made it this far in the Champions League says it all. It will be two difficult matches against them," Rafinha said to Goal.com.
"They showed what they're capable of against Borussia Dortmund [in the group stage]. There's obviously a difference between the Champions League and the domestic competition, but I find it difficult to understand why they're struggling domestically.
"The fact that they have recorded some poor results doesn't mean they will do badly against us.
The most important thing for us is to play our own game and dominate play. They will try to prevent this though, and it won't be easy."
The former Schalke defender has lost his starting berth in recent weeks, but insists that he is feeling happy at Bayern and is determined to show his credentials.
"I was ill and the team did very well when I wasn't there. I'm fully match fit again now, and I'm waiting for an opportunity to prove my worth to the coach.
"I am very happy at Bayern. I'm playing at the biggest club in Germany and I can identify with the culture in Germany. I am pleased to be here."
Rafinha joined the Bavarians in the summer of 2011 from Genoa for a reported fee of €5.5 million.
