Manchester City forward Mario Balotelli has caused another stir by interrupting the press conference of new Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni.
The former Inter Primavera coach, who recently led his side to the final of the NextGen Series tournament, was appointed as successor to Claudio Ranieri as boss of the senior side on Monday.
During his first press conference as Nerazzurri supremo, he was interrupted when former Inter striker Balotelli entered the room.
The City striker greeted Stramaccioni and the Inter directors who were present before taking his leave.
The new boss was so stunned that he turned to a journalist after the 21-year-old had left and asked: “What was the last question?”
The 36-year-old had earlier expressed his pride at realising a dream by taking the reins at struggling Inter, insisting he was not scared to be the latest man to attempt to emulate the success of Jose Mourinho at San Siro.
"This is a dream for me, I'm proud to train these players,” he told reporters. "I'm not scared, our target is to restart winning since the match against Genoa. I'm different from Jose Mourinho."
Balotelli quit Inter for City in the summer of 2010.
He has courted controversy ever since his arrival in England with a string of off-the-field indiscretions, but has repaid the faith placed in him by manager Roberto Mancini with 15 goals to his name this season.
