Chelsea without Terry, Ivanovic, Ramires and Meireles for Champions League final

Chelsea quartet John Terry, Raul Meireles, Branislav Ivanovic and Ramires will miss the Champions League final through suspension.

Skipper Terry received a red card for kneeing Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez in the back during Tuesday's semi-final second-leg at Camp Nou, which ended as a 2-2 draw, with the Blues progressing 3-2 on aggregate.

His three team-mates were all cautioned and subsequently took their tallies to three bookings for the tournament, meaning they must serve a one-match suspension.

Chelsea are now sweating on defenders for the final at the Allianz Arena on May 19, with David Luiz and Gary Cahill also doubts for the game.

Both are nursing hamstring strains, with the Brazilian hobbling off during his side’s 5-1 Wembley triumph over Tottenham and Cahill lasting just 11 minutes of the draw with Barcelona on Tuesday.

The former Villa man has revealed he is waiting on the results of a scan and is hopeful of a speedy return.

“I'm hoping it's not as bad as we first thought," Cahill told Sky Sports News.

"I just felt a pop in my hamstring. But it's high up, which they tell me is probably better than it being right in the middle.

"I just pray the scan's all right."
