Borriello hopes for Juventus stay

Juventus loanee Marco Borriello has indicated that he is looking to earn a permanent switch at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old striker joined Juventus from Roma in January on a six-month loan with a view to a permanent deal should he manage to impress.

He has yet to break his duck for the Bianconeri after 12 matches, but the Italian is seemingly confident that the Serie A leaders will exercise their buying option at the end of the season.

"I do not lose confidence in myself, I am ambitious and I have always shared the same ambitions as Juventus," he told Juventus Channel.

"First of all, I want to finish this season on a high and there is no problem if I do not score, all that matters is that Juventus win.

"Then I hope to do the pre-season with all the boys next season. And the goals will come.

"I have always scored, and I also will at this club."

Juventus, who are three points clear at the top of the Serie A table, will meet Cesena on Wednesday in their next Serie A game.
