Bristol City midfielder Stephen Pearson has signed a new two-year contract.
The 29-year-old Scotland international earned a new deal after a successful six-month spell at Ashton Gate last season.
"It's great that we've been able to agree a deal for two more seasons," Pearson told the club's official website. "The club is going through a lot of change and it's a very exciting one to be part of.
He added: "I had other options available to me and could have waited, but I enjoyed my time at Ashton Gate so much that I knew this was the right club for me."
Manager Derek McInnes added: "I'm very pleased we have been able to secure Stephen's signature. He played a key part in our recovery and ultimate survival last season."
